L’Angolino

Salvatore Panetta is a chef who was born and raised in the south of Italy. He came to America 30 years ago, where he met his wife, Laura. The two met in San Diego, then later married and opened a restaurant (da Salvatore Ristorante) in Baja California, Tijuana.⁠ The couple was invited to Liberty Station by their dear friend Cecilia (from Cecilia’s Taqueria) to take over her Torta place. Right away they wanted to create “Fine Italian Sandwiches “, as Laura believes that “fine” means quality and tradition put together.
